‘Return to Kurdistan’ exhibition

The touring exhibition ‘Return to Kurdistan’ featured my contemporary photographs of Iraqi Kurdistan and Northern Iraq alongside historical photographs by Anthony Kersting from the archives at the Courtauld Institute of Art.

The exhibition was first shown in the cities of Erbil and Sulaimani in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. It was then exhibited at The Courtauld Institute of Art, London and the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at Exeter University, before being shown in the Houses of Parliament, London.

Organized in partnership with Gulan, The Courtauld Institute of Art, University of Exeter and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Kurdistan Region in Iraq.
