‘Departures’ exhibition

I curated the exhibition ‘Departures’, organised by The Barakat Trust and hosted by Asia House, London.

The exhibition featured historical photographs showing the rich heritage of the Islamic world from the earliest days of photography to the mid-twentieth century. An accompanying display of images sourced from young photographers on Instagram demonstrated the vibrancy and diversity of the contemporary Islamic world.
